Comments from Our ReadersThis feature is intended for our readers to share their experiences at movie theaters, in the hopes that theaters providing good presentations will be highlighted as well as those that need improvement to meet the expectations of their customers. This is not a forum for bashing on a theater, but rather a place for your experiences (both good and bad) to be noted for other readers to see. If you had a problem at a theater, we encourage you to contact that theater using the information on their Contact Information page. Most theaters are very interested in hearing feedback from their customers. Dec 30, 2015 (> 1 year ago) - BigScreen Reader We saw The Big Short on Dec.25, 2015 at 11:20. We came after looking up AMC theaters to use a gift card. The Glen was on the AMC list. We were disappointed to find out our card would not be honored because The Glen is no longer an AMC theater. The staff told us they were not responsible for what the computer listed and that they had been Arc Light for over 3 years. (not true). We stayed because we had other plans for later that afternoon. We purchased our senior tickets and enjoyed the movie in spite of the complications. Someone needs to update this info so it doesn't happen to others. I did contact AMC as well. Would you recommend this theater to others? Yes Parking and transportation information from the theater's web site: The theater has closed for renovations, and will reopen on May 1, 2015 as an ArcLight Cinemas location. We just added a Journal Entry about it: Apr 11, 2015 (> 1 year ago) - BigScreen Reader no theater listings on my i-phone or your website for your glenview theater. Mar 10, 2015 (> 1 year ago) - Debby Why don't you put prices on your web site. It would be a lot easier then calling the theatre. Jan 20, 2015 (> 1 year ago) - Starchy Why don't you put prices on your web site? Others have commented but you still have not posted them. Dec 29, 2014 (> 1 year ago) - Starchy Do you have a program with AARP that provides special offers on popcorn and drinks as was offered by Regal Theatres ? When I asked the people behind the counter had no idea . A lot of seniors are your customers so you need to offer what Regal had to be competitive Dec 27, 2014 (> 1 year ago) - BigScreen Reader How come you can't find the price of tickets on your site? Regal theater's which this show was formally owned by had this. I look at several places and couldn't find a listed ticket price. Aug 27, 2010 (> 1 year ago) - BigScreen Reader You should advertise in the newspapers. There are people who do not have a computer in the north shore. The seniors who find it easier to look in the paper.
