I have never had trouble with the theater. If you report inconsiderate movie goers the security guard takes care of problems, the pricing of everything is great for a movie theater and the theaters themselves are much better now that the renovations are finished.

I enjoy regularly going to this theater with my family and friends, although I wish it would get a larger selection of films.

On x-mas day my husband and I wanted to watch the hobbit bout the tickets but when we got in the theater there was few seats available and no seat to sit together when we asked the manager for a refund or gift card so we could watch it another day he was really rude and didn't let us Finnish what we was going to say

The manager Steve was a incompetent disrespectful person and even know we only have one theater here I rather stay home or go some where else than giving that Sad excuse for a manager any more of my hard earned money thanks for nothing....

Never have I experienced a theater that had so many technical issues. In the course of the year I have received refunds for nearly every movie I tried to see. To exacerbate the situation the manager is rude and blames customers for the problems they are having.

Me and many people I know have begun avoiding this, the only theater in town, due to all of the issues.

My wife and I went to see Avatar in 3D there today (2/27/10). The 3D is new to this part of the state and, living in a small town, we thought it would be a nice day to make the 71 mile, nearly two hour, journey and catch the 2:55 showing. Perhaps shop, get a bite to eat. The theater has changed hands and renovations are underway. We hadn't been to any theater for a few months, and were looking forward to it.

A young couple, we have a son who is almost a year old. We'd taken him to movies before with no trouble and didn't expect any this time. About half way through he became wiggly and fussy at not being able to play. So my wife and I took turns standing at the back of the theater by the door with him, (we were third row from the back, aisle seats, anyway). We physically left and stood in the hall with him several times in order to keep him from annoying other patrons. Keep in mind, this was not crying, screaming, or even being extremely loud, just his attempt at talking. Nor was he startled by the movie, we have a home theater, and he's used to movies being loud and hasn't entered the stage where he understands the movie and is scared. It's mainly just pretty colors and loud noises. He could be heard during the quiter parts however and we were taking measure to avoid annoying anyone as much as possible.

About twenty minutes 'til the end of the movie a man came in, passing my wife standing inside the exit, and took a seat in the row in front of me after standing by the back and flipping his glasses up and down to see the difference in the 3D. I know this because I kept glancing back to make sure my wife was alright. I figured his movie let out earlier and he had ducked in to check out the 3D. He sat there until about three minutes from the fairly quite end of the movie, you could hear my son make a shushing noise a couple of times, again, not loud, not "shut that baby up" loud, but possibly annoying.

At this point the man jumped up and headed towards the exit, not a huge deal until I realize he's standing a foot away from my wife yelling and waving his hands as she backs up against the wall. At which point I quickly inserted myself, being a concerned husband and father.

Turns out this guy is the new owner of the theater, one Brian Mitchell, and he took exception to my son's vocal talent. Understandable, he was making shushing noises, it wasn't very loud, no one around us had complained to us, but I don't know that there weren't any complaints. However, he choose his first angry words to my wife holding my child in her arms, to be an angry "Why don't you just take that baby and get the hell out of here!?" Direct quote, I kid you not. No introduction, no offer to assist, no polite please leave.

Instead, three minutes from the credits rolling, an angry man advanced on my wife and child in a threatening manner and told her to leave. He wore a red dress shirt with "Mitchell" above the left pocket, apparently manager uniform there (the rest of the staff wear black), but did not identify himself as staff or owner until part way through the conversation with my wife and did not identify himself to me until the ordeal was nearly over. She told him that her husband and belongings were still inside, he said he didn't care she could leave them.

When I asked him if he had a problem with my wife he spoke quiter but called us "morons" and said we were "idiots for bringing a baby to the movies". He alternated between offering us our money back (which we did not ask for nor take), saying he didn't need anyone's money with noisy children, and berating us and our child even after the credits rolled, drawing far more attention than my son ever did.

He was vehement, ill-mannered, and rude. As long as he owns the Sequoyah, we will never go back or recommend it to anyone for a family outing. Thank you Mr. Mitchell, for making my wife cry and ruining our trip. The 3d was awesome, the attitude was not. We'll go to Dodge from now on.
