o.k Showboat is not that bad..yeshh i do agree it's not deh BEST but not deh WORST..i go there all deh time w/friends & we enjoy it there..it could be a little cleaner cus when i goo sometimes deh teenagers leave a mess & it is kinda gross..also kids go in deh movies all deh time without paying for their tickets thats bad if i have 2 pay for my ticket dhen they should have to as well..other than that no problems..keep deh work upp & improve:D

Ok the theater was not as bad as the reviews that I read, but the bathrooms could have used a little sprucing up! And it would have been nice to have paper hand towels in the bathroom stocked. We were about the last movie to let out and there was not many customers standing around for the next showing so maybe the staff could have stocked in between showings?

The lines for purchasing tickets were to long and finally someone opened another location when the lines were forming to the entrance doors. The location to salt your popcorn was not clean and there was only 1 dispenser that had napkins in it...alll the others were empty.

I would have gone to another location if this movie was playing elsewhere, but showboat was the only one. overall ok...but not clean

I have been going to the showboat for many years and never a less than an overall enjoyable time with the staff and most of the movies. I hope they keep furnishing the area with free parking and mopvies that stay out of the gutter. thanks guys

As a member of the SILVER SCREEN MOVIE CLUB I would like to thank the Showboat Theater and their staff for generous partipation in providing us with our senior movie club which on the first thursday of each month (for the last 8 years) has provided FREE coffee, donuts and a movie to over 300 senoirs a month.

Had some comments about the sound quality at the senior movie August 4th. Might want to check that out.

I'm actually at the theater right now and its halfway into the movie and the lights are still on. Now I remember why we don't come here!!! All the little things make it worth it to drive somewhere else.

I was honestly pretty happy when i went there, the sound may not be the best yet, the bathrooms and the theater area was clean, when i went and watched Thor with my son, and he loved it, every where i went there was employees working on cleaning the bathrooms the theaters and even the hallways, and they all are responsible adults yet they have to SOME growing up to do because of there way the treat people..the girl that gave me my ticket made our popcorn and ate out of the bag, so that was very unacceptable but it was a good place to go!

I went to this website to see what was playing to take my kids, Wow I'm glad i did and I'm glad I read the comments 1st. 7 out of 7 of bad reviews, doesn't take a genious to know to save my money or spend it elsewhere.

I have gone to the showboat for a long time and never ad bad time. Staff was never rude and bathrooms and salwys seem clean. Never had a time with no napkins or straws. My problem is the sound in some shows seems bad.

Horrible counter service,rude people behind the counter, stale popcorn, no straws, no napkins, dirty bathrooms, dirty theatre, sound on picture was so bad could not enjoy the movie!!! Does anyone in management read any of this?

Since this is really the only place to see a movie in the area why would they not take care of the problems. They don't have any good comments. WE won't be back, and I'm going to tell everyone I know not to go! My friend said we should complain to the health inspector. I will be there tomorrow!!

Save your money people this place isn't worth it!!!!

This theater is horrible. Every time I have gone there it is nothing but problems. Many of which the other negative comments cover. The number one reason I don't go there anymore is the sound quality is horrible!

If anyone wants a great theater to go to I would recommend Showtime Cinema in Franklin, WI. It's a little bit of a drive but well worth it. If anything, do a whole day out that way and go shopping and/or out to eat first. I have never had a bad experience there. The place is clean and comfortable. The staff, sound, and picture are all great!

I realize I have spent a lot of time pitching that theater to you but I would rather tell you about a place you can enjoy than waste too much time complaining and repeating what everyone else has said.

My friend and I went and saw Dinner for Schmucks on August 3rd.

The lobby was really dark. The worker guy at the counter was mumbling, I couldn't understand him. Floor in the theater was slippery and gross.

My friend tripped over one of the steps because it wasn't lit. An older lady tripped over the same step shortly after. (You guys are going to end up having a lawsuit pretty soon if you don't fix stuff like that!)

The movie started 8 minutes late. It was blurry throughout the entire film and it was crooked and cutting off the top of the movie a little. We left with a headache because of all of that.

We'll never go there again.

I've been going to this theater for twelve years, and I've never had any major complaints.

The sound quality isn't great, but it doesn't drastically affect the viewing experience. The staff is fine but not particularly friendly; they do their job but don't go out of their way to be helpful or talkative. The facilities have always been clean with the exception of the bathrooms on nights of big premieres, but that's to be expected.

Overall, the theater is nothing special, but it's a nice place to go with family and friends to see a movie.

This was the absolute worst of the worst! Filthy, staff was indifferent and rude.
Bathrooms had no towels from the dispenser, only a roll of paper towels laying on the sink countertop. eww.

I have never been to a theatre that was so run down.
I have visited theatres that are considered landmarks and they have been meticulous.

The grandchildren asked for pizza. (horrible idea, but I do tend to spoil them). After paying, I was informed that they may not have any pizzas. Minutes later it was confirmed that they did in fact have pizzas. No plates. "We ran out of them last week". Today, yes you ran out today, I understand.

Not really but.... LAST WEEK ? The staff was scary they were so obnoxious. There were two girls (staff) playing with the soap in the Ladies Room as I was accompanying my granddaughter. Big Joke to them.

Honestly, the show was so empty i thought that it was in the process of bankruptcy. Perhaps it is.

DO NOT GO! Of course there was a small group of teens + smoking pot in the back, they will not realize the pig sty in which they are smoking.

If I could reach the owner, I would demand my money back.

Staff was unfriendly. The girl working concessions was playing with her hair - it looks as if it had fallen out of her pony tail. She was coughing, and putting her hand in the popcorn maker, then eating handfuls of popcorn right in front of us! When I paid for my ticket, she never said a word to me.

The lobby needed cleaned, as well as the bathroom. The theater itself was okay. I would tell friends/family not to go here, but there is not another theater in the general vicinity.

Very unsatisfied.
