This theatre is an older theatre and no one can expect to have the plush seating and all the other amenties of the newer theaters without a great deal of monetary investment from the owners. That of course means the price of the movie increasing along with concession stand prices as well.(Economics 101) I for one enjoy the discount of the movie and the comfort of the hometown feeling when I enter this theatre. (And the seats are not uncomfortable) I prefer the price over the amenities that are overated in the first place.

I mean really, isn't the movie itself what you came to see and not all the expensive murals and decorations in the lobby?

Please put the showtimes each week on this website. You are not consistant so I never know when I am going to get showtimes from one week to the next.

Also, I agree with other comments about getting the seating fixed up. Everyone including are willing to pay more for a decent theatre because we do. We go to St. Augustine. Just don't be quite as high as them but kinda keep a happy medium. Then more people will come to your theatre. Thank you

Interesting...the prior page says..."The theater has not provided us a way to send them comments made by customers (or something to that effect) One would think that if you were really serious about running a business, you would want to hear about any problems ASAP. Knowing the attitudes and the concerns of your customer base is 101 in business...unless, you've got the only game in town and you don't give a darn about what anybody thinks. What do you think?

I totally agree with the other review concerning the disappointmen
of seeing (and feeling) the same old interior seating. I know it's
expensive...but so is losing customers. People can drive 20 -25 min. to St. Augustine and go to a first class theater, which is what we do most of the time. It makes taking the wife out to
something really nice more like a "date". Keep in mind, when mama's happy, well ...everything is better and that's worth a few more bucks. Come on guys, come off the hip and really give us something we can be proud of.

Years ago there was a theater here called the Howell Theater. It was a scaled down version of a New York type theater. Absolutely first class! Beautifuly murals on the ceiling in the lobby, a "cry" room in the back for babies (and girlfriends) and a Marque out front that made you think you were in the Big Apple.

On my last visit to FUZE about 3 weeks ago, the smell was so horrible that we could not sit where we wanted and had to find a place that was less rank. I asked the staff what the odor was, they said it was apparently a mixture of some kind of deoderant and air freshener or something. I am not overexaggerating, it was like a dead animal in the middle of the theater. Possibly good intentions...but someone screwed up ..maybe it should have been done earlier, or day off?

Got to go now, headed to ST Aug tonight to see the new Hobbit movie. I'll be a fan again when you guys get serious.

Would you recommend this theater to others? No!

We visited our local theater which is under new ownership yesterday.

On the plus side, the employees were friendly and polite. The negative, this theater desperately needs refurbishing. I know that's really costly, but we did hope the theater seats/rugs would have been professionally cleaned when the new owners took over... from the looks of everything that didn't happen.

My biggest letdown though was that our theater used to have decent popcorn, maybe last night was just an off night, but the popcorn was awful.

Still all that aside, it's nice to have a movie theater in our town, and I really hope the owner's as they're able to, smooth some of the rough spots out. Best of luck!
