My husband and I drive from Shively at least once a month to see a movie...we have NEVER had any problems with RAVE it's always clean and staff have ALWAYS been friendly...we could go to Dixie Dozen but that place is so old and nasty...!!!!!!

i took my grandchildren to see a movie last wed and the time was wrong that was giving to us, so we had to see another movie that my grandchildren did not like at all just because we drove all the way there and it was to much to leave and come back we payed for a movie that we had to leave because my grandkides did not like.very disappointed, we spent almost 50.00 it was a waste

Would you recommend this theater to others? No!

Tonight I was excited to see African Cats with my children. Our local theater wasn't showing it so we decided to drive 40 miles to Rave 16 in Louisville Ky.  I read online that there was food inside so we arrived an hour early. The service at the restaurant was less than pleasing but I understood because it was 6 pm and it was a bar and grill. I was there with a 5 and 8 year old so could I actually expect customer service, maybe not but I didn't expect to get my own barbecue sauce for my sons popcorn chicken.

As we headed in the hallway to the theater my daughter started choking. I rushed her to the nearest trash can as she vomited her grilled cheese. As a result I needed to take her to the bathroom to clean up her clothes and our skin.  I wouldn't expect an employee to help at this point. But two young employees did walk in as I was washing my daughters shirt in the sink.  I guess even decent customer service would have done more than complain about cleaning it up.

It was clear by this point we were not watching a movie. On the way out my daughter had another episode right by the front door.  Several customers volunteered to help but of the 12 employees I could see not one offered. One lady attempted to get a popcorn bucket for my daughter to puke in while we were walking to the bathroom but the employees refused. I found a used bucket in a trash canto use as we went to the bathroom. Yes, someone else's trash had to provide comfort for my 5 year old princess on our date night.

As we were walking to the bathroom with my daughters vomit covered wet shirt and her head hovering over someone else's empty popcorn bucket the ticket taker refused to let us through to get to the bathroom. Appalled by her attitude I asked her to tell her manager to meet me in the bathroom.  While we were cleaning up 3 employees walked through never speaking to us but acted as to only provide an update for the drama crowd of employees talking outside of the bathroom. I'm $26 invested into tickets, $35 invested into food (the cokes were $3 a piece), and still a borrowed bucket to puke in.

We finally got to the car and home but I'll never forget my only experience at a Rave theater. I understand you keep the bottom line low so you hire young fresh faces. For the next father taking their kids on a date night please provide training to the management and staff at this theater. Not 1 person cared enough to give my daughter a
bucket to puke in.

Would you recommend this theater to others? No!
