Now that we are on a stricter budget, I'm appreciating this budget theater even more. All the better movies come here eventually so no need to blame the theater for slim pickings. For instance right now, at Marcus and AMC, there is nothing good to go see IMO. I don't blame the theaters.

Some seats are a bit less cushiony, I agree, so we simply move around to find a better one. To charge a $1 or $2 per ticket, it doesn't take a math genius to realize not much money goes into the remodeling till. Thus I won't complain. (And holding my soda cup is no big deal.)

We have had no problems with the parking lot.

Staff has always been manning their stations when we've been there.

Watching a movie at a theatre is always a more fun experience than renting the DVD, so I'm very thankful Budget Cinema is sticking around.

Great price for what you're getting. This theater is great for families on a budget. Who cares if the theater is old? What do you expect for 2 bucks? If you looking for upscale, try some of the pricier places. As for me and my family we're going to stick to the budget and not get stuck with paying for swagger.

I like the price of this theater compared to other theaters. The seats were very uncomfortable. A small bag of popcorn is more than the movie itself so that was a negative. It is definitely worth waiting for the movies to come out at the budget.

I went back to get a soda and had my same cup, the young man took my cup and dumped the ice from my cup into the ice that was meant to be used for new customer's cups. I then told him that he was putting germs into the new ice and he shrugged his shoulders as if it didn't matter. I would never get ice put into my drink at a theater again.

This is a fantastic theater. Since my husbands death, my kids and I have made a weekly event of coming, as long as the movies fit their ages. Please don't close this theater, it is the only way I can afford to enjoy these events.

Please Do NOT close up this theatre. I set up my schedule at work so that I can have Tuesdays off because I just cannot afford the high prices of the so called premium theatre. Mayfair has so much noise I could not here the movie. Bayshore is way over priced. I sat in a wet seat at Northshore. To the Budget I say thank you, thank you, thank you.

Great theater, you forget it's not premium very soon. I go to Mayfair once in a while but really can't justify the 300% or so cost anymore. Never been broken into but never leave anthing on the seats or floor either. I had a friend that would, I would just put it in the trunk.

We have been going to movies here for more than five years. The staff has always been friendly and courteous. The popcorn is always good and fixed the way you want it .. if you ask. If you want more than that, then you need to go to the expensive theaters...

Just because your car was broken into you rated EVERYTHING as Unacceptable, and your car being broken into has absolutely nothing to do with the picture or sound quality or building condition! I can see where you might connect the staff with it, but really, it is not the movie theater's fault!

I'm sorry but these comments about getting your car broken into are ridiculous. If you don't want your car broken into don't live or go within 30 miles of the Milwaukee metro, plain and simple. It sucks, but it's part of living here so stop blaming people who have nothing to do with it. What do you want them to do hire security to patrol the lot? Well then you can say goodbye to your dollar movies.

Lobby is not kept up during various showings. Bathroom is not clean or maintained. Wouldn't take much effort to get the cleanliness part up to speed.

This is a wonderful theater in quality and especially pricing, my favorite thing to do with my friends is to go here and see a movie, and we all have a great time for an amazing price.

Now tell me, where else in Wisconsin can you see a movie for $1, even if it's only on Tuesdays? (Besides other budget theaters) I think the snacks are reasonably priced, and the sharing cups are excellent for popcorn when I go with my family or a big group of friends, AND you can get a free refill.

I highly recommend this theatre to EVERYONE.

The new "welcome" from the manager before the movie is a nice touch. And the "Thanks for coming" from the cleanup crew was just as nice.

I went today (tuesday, April 26th) to the 2:20pm showing of "Gnomeo and Juliet" with my kids. We moved to the Milwaukee area about 1 year ago. When we saw that there was a budget theatre in the area, we were so excited! I looked up the theatre on here and viewed the comments. I was disappointed with some of the comments, but decided to take my 2 kids plus another child. I wanted to go today since it is only $1 per person on Tuesdays.

First, there was a line, but the wait time was minimal. ALL of the staff were ready, waiting to serve all patrons. I could tell the theatre was older, but that didn't hurt our movie-going experience. The popcorn was GREAT. I got the largest size and it was A LOT. We all ate off of it during the movie and we didn't eat all of it. The movie was ok (didn't really like the movie, but that's not the theatre's fault). Afterwards, we walked out and were told 'Have a nice day' by at least 3 employees (all waiting to clean). I put on the children's coats and while I did I noticed there were 5 employees sweeping/cleaning the concession and foyer. Awesome.

I was impressed. Good service. Good food. Good atmosphere (clean). I love the price too.

This theater is amazing! I don't know what some of the others above are thinking! Its practically free to see movies there! The picture and sound is good and if people don't like it, their simply greedy. I love this theater and would definitely recommend it to other people!

The Theater is not the cleanest or most modern compared to the other major theaters.... but who wants to pay more than $10 for a movie, so the price is right and you get what you pay for.

However, I had my car stereo stolen there a few years ago, and so did a few other people by the same thieves... why is this the theaters fault? The manager told me this was a problem they had, but they don't do anything about it. They could at least send someone outside to look around during the movies when then lots are empty. I make sure to park underneath lights and nowhere near the back lot or in the dark.

They recently sold off the parking lot north of the theater, making finding a parking spot anywhere near the doors virtually impossible. I won't be going here in inclement weather any more.

Great price. Snacks a bit overpriced. Higher than area theaters. Only real concern is cleanliness of the lobby. Lobby should kept up (cleaned, vacuumed, disinfected, windexed) while movies are running as other theaters do. I frequently see most of the staff sitting in the office at that time...having a break...rather than maintaining the lobby.

Need drink holders on all seats.

This is a great Budget Theater. The kids that work here have always been very pleasant to me at the ticket and snack counter. The popcorn is always fresh and hot and you can not beat the price.

I go every weekend, sometimes alone but many times I take my three grand kids who also love it. I could not do that without this Budget cinema and many others could not either. Please do not close this theater as it would really be missed.

Please dont close this movie theatre! I have come to this theatre for years with my kids. They are now adults and we still come to see a movie at an affordable price.

The popcorn is the BEST. The building is old and tired, and the lobby and the green space outside needs alittle TLC, and sometimes it may be understaffed, but it needs someone to rescue it! We find ways to raise money to support or save other things in our community, lets save the theatre!

I don't mind spending $4 a movie to do my part in keeping it around for our grandkids. It has been a blessing to families on a budget. Lets keep it around.

October 24th we went to see Inception at 415.

The service was horrible! First we get to the ticket booth, no one there. We stood for a few minutes and she finally came out after the concession worker yelled to her and she came out of some room from the side. She was friendly enough and took care of us.

So then we go up to the concession stand were the kid just saw us getting tickets and he was gone. We waited, and waited and waited, not one person was behind that counter!. How unprofessional. He knew people were coming in and Ive never been to a movie were the counter for snacks was not attended, ever. So he finally comes out of a break room it looks like, the same one the ticket person came out of and he's walking along TEXTING on his phone!! Really? Then he comes around to the counter, couldnt say Hi and not a thank you either, not surprising at this point.

So after we were done and walking away to the door for the movie, he leaves again! So then an older lady comes up to the counter and I stood and waited to see how long it took her to get waited on, the same as when we waited! This is so unprofessional, walking about texting, ignoring the counter.

I will never go here again and I guess it doesnt matter its closing anyway, but what kind of a place is this and were is the manager? Its such poor business manners but thats what we get from our teenagers now, they dont care and do as they please with a phone stuck in thier hands. And dont think Im some old fogie, Im only 40 but I see what the help is like now a days and its not good.

Enjoy a place that has gone downhill!

I LOVE this theater! It is a blessing to be able to see films for a low fee, I would be willing to pay more if they would stay open. The soda/popcorn is rather expensive, it they lowered that price (so more people would purchase) upped the fee a dollar or two to even things out for them, I would think they could stay in business. The staff is always great, everything is always clean and I feel safe in the parking lot. There are so many of us that cannot afford mainstream theaters. It is wonderful to have an alternative.

My family has been going to the budget for years. We love that we can take our children (6) to the movie and buy popcorn. The money we have saved over the years on entertainment is amazing thanks to this theater. We will certainly miss it when it closes.

We were truely concerned that the quality would go down when the news was out that they would be closing in spring of this year. But that is far from the truth. The staff are friendly and curtious. The facility is well kept and the bathrooms clean. The prices can't be beat on tickets or popcorn and soda,( where else can you get a family bucket and an enormous soda both with a free refill for under $12.) They even toss in the sharing cups.

I am happy that the date of closing in spring has since passed and dread the day that my children have to be informed that their are other movie theaters (They truely have never been to another) and unfortunately they will not be going nearly as often.

I am sad to learn that this theater is looking to sell and close.

I've been coming here for years and will miss the low cost to see movies that sometimes I feel are not worth full price at other theaters.

The only problem I have with this theater is the cost of snacks

a family still has a hard time treating their kids to treats at $4 dollars and UP for soda or popcorn.

This theatre is the only one I know of in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that offers $1.00 movies on Tuesdays and $2.00 movies every other day. The movies are the ones that have recently stopped showing at other theatres, but are still popular.

This theatre is a good deal, especially for the money. The movie rooms are great, sound quality is great, seats are intact and the theatre is kept clean. You would expect for the staff to not care about how the lobby, bathrooms, or any other area of the theatre looks but they do put their best into making your movie-going experience good.

On top of that there is a small video game area and the concessions are great, a little high, but great (although they occassionally have junior specials that include popcorn and soda for less than $5.00).

I would recommend this theatre to all, but especially to those who want to have fun and budget at the same time.
