My husband and I went to see Magic Mike on Monday, it was the first showing of the day, now mind you we haven't gone to see a movie in a while.

When got there and found out that there prices for stuff has gone up alot, $12.50 for a large popcorn, 2 sodas I thought outrageous, cause there large popcorn really isn't a lagre to me. It was a medium size for most other thearters. The popcorn must have been from the night before, cause we didn't smell fresh popcorn, and it was all small bits like you find on the bottom of the bag. We had the first bag empty in the first 10 minutes of the movie and when I went to get my free refilll, which is nolonger free, it's a $1.00 that was fresh and bigger kernals and the bag was full. When you think of the cost of popcorn the price was lot.

The people were nice to us. The theater was clean , restrooms were how ever not, tolite paper all over the floor, for just opening, there should have been none on the floot at all. There were only 4 cars in the parking lot, so to me that just means that the restrooms were not cleaned up right or at all. The sinks were sloped up with soap, and they looked like they weren't wiped down at all. There are a lot of the doors that don't lock in the womens restrooms.

But other wise the movie was ok, not what I expected but they can't control that can they.

Went to see The Avengers a few ago on a Thursday night. Went to the 7pm show...started 10 min. late. Got the Large soda so I can get a refill for $1. Went to get my refill about 8:30 and the concession was closed. Looks like they JUST closed. You think they would of just gave me the refill but NO. So warning... see the concession hours before seeing the movie. Also a little comment about not having FREE soda or popcorn anymore there. If McDonalds have free refills on their soda's why can the theater have it as well???? Sounds like a excuse.

I will take the time to drive to Menomonee Falls next time which is a shame since they are the only movie theater in West Bend as of now :( The attitudes of employees need to be kinder to the customer...I always have the teenage boys with a "I rather be somewhere else" atitude there.

They need to post their ticket prices. I asked for a senior ticket and I don't believe I got the lower rate, but couldn't check on that, because they won't post the prices.

Also, the kids working there are great, but the manager needs an attitude adjustment or needs to be fired. I cannot speak loudly and I know it can sometimes be hard to hear me, especially at first, but I do the best I can and usually don't have much problem being understood, especially when someone realizes my problem. But the manager's impatient attitude and his comment of "Speak up if you expect me to hear you" was rude, unsympathetic and unhelpful.

I'd recommend this theater to others, with a warning about the manager, but whenever possible, I'll go to Saukville.

I like this theater but when there is a sign on door that says open in 20-30 minutes before First Show and you open 10 Minutes you have to rush and what 3-D do they have Panavision or Technicoloror Both I like that they have Jumbo Drinks now but refill for a Dollar is Ok

I go see movies a lot, and enjoy it. Though this theater makes it terribly hard for me to enjoy something that I love to relax to do.

I really only signed up on the site to complain about that stupid manager guy.

I'm going to see the Hunger Games movie tomorrow and it'll be my first movie I've seen there in awhile so he could have been fired, but I really doubt it. I really hope so though.

He definitely needs to be fired because if he was having a bad day when I see him crabby is a bit understandable but I have never seen him be polite or nice to a single customer or employee before.

He's stale and rude to everyone.

I don't know what the kid did but one time I heard him yelling in the parking lot at this kid who road away on a skate board. Well you can probably assume I was routing for the kid because I doubt he did anything really horrible.

Screw the old guy, fire him already no one likes him.

Local health department told them they can't give refills on popcorn or their previous bring-your-own-bag for free popcorn promotion. The story was in the West Bend Daily News.

Can't believe that they stay in business as the old, crapp(bb)y manager is so rude to everyone. The seats are uncomfortable and the concessions were raised.....no more free refills on popcorn - what a cheap outfit. The Manager is lucky that he has the only theater around....people have to travel to get to Hartford or Menomonee Falls.....and I suggest it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bottom line: the owner/management needs to change or that theater will fail. He is the rudest, most unprofessional manager I have EVER encountered.

I have literally seen him yelling at paying customers! Just pitiful etiquette. And the concession line organization is awful- so stupid.

I recommend Saukville. Don't waste your time with this place.

We attended the show called "New Years Eve" on Dec 25 late afternoon. The lobby was crowded out the doors. The manager was crabby (as usual) and harping on the two kids working at the time.

We waited in line for over a half hour. The beginning of the movie was delayed by at least 10 minutes to accommodate the late comers. Near the end of the movie (when it normally should have ended?) the movie quit. Lights went on. No ending.

When I went out to lobby to find out what just happened, manager yelled at me and said go back and sit down and I will finish up movie for you. Very rude. They need a new manager. And someone filling up drinks and popcorn while others sell tickets.

Extremely difficult to buy just tickets. Understaffed and not organized. Theater is always freezing cold. They have raised prices and provided less.

the movie threater smelled of burned popcorn the popcorn was cold light wasnt on in by the popcorn. in the middle of the popcorn container the popcorn taste burnt the theater was cold even with my coat on price for what we got cold burnt popcorn frezing threater { it set at 68 it felt like 65 or colder} it not worth it I will drive to a nother theater in from now on

We've been to this theater several times and it is always the same. Friday, November 18th however, was the last straw.

The ticket people were rude, the traffic patterns to get tickets and then try and get through the mob of people to get to theater and then try getting back out of theater after show was over was impossible, having no POPCORN AVAILABLE was inconceivable and bathrooms were absolutely disgusting!

The number one most aweful place I've been to in years! We will not be back!

Please, when a movie is available in 3D and 2D, please show it in both formats. I for one, cannot watch 3D without getting sick, so all the big movies I'd like to see, I have to watch elsewhere, at a more customer friendly theater, because this theater only shows the 3D version. Have some compassion for those of us who cannot watch 3D and occasionally show a movie in both, or you'll lose that business for all the biggest movies.

I too have a feeling that the only problem with Paradise Theatres services is the manager. When he's not there pressuring the staff, things go much smoother and more pleasant.

I myself find the kids behind the counter polite but overwhelmed when hes present and his appearance is terrible. The smell of burnng popcorn is nauseating at times but my main beef is the pre movie junk on the screen. Remove the old stuff with new and some new movie trailers would be nice.

I like this theater but the last three times I've come here, the movie has started at least 5 minutes late. One time someone had to go out and tell them the movie was 10 minutes late in starting and from what he said on his return, it was clear the person he talked to had no idea of what time it was.

Get more projectionists, set alarms, do whatever it takes to start the movies when you say they'll start! To do less shows a lack of consideration for the customers.

I cannot believe how mean the manager is. I would not work for a jerk like him nor would I allow my child to. He is rude to his staff in front of customers but then again he is rude to the customers as well. I don't care how much gas is or that tickets are more I will go to Saukville or the Falls!

Went to the movie theater for a nice experience. First off the theater itself was in very good condition, clean, orderly, etc. They need to go back to buying your tickets at the door and then go in to standing in line at concessions.

GET RID OF THAT OLD MAN MANAGER. Grumpy, hard of hearing, disgusted and very annoied when asked a question. Yelled and was very rude to the younger workers behind the counter. Disorganized at the order counter. Workers doing their best with the conditions and clutter they have to work in.

Overall experience is good but very poor management. I would not stand for working in that environment if he was my manager I would quit or do my best to go over his head to do something about him and his attitude.

Everyone employed at the theater that worked on 05/07/11 at 7 pm was great except for the MANAGER!

after three bad experiences started going to Menomonee Falls

Three months later because of gas prices decided to give it another try. Once again the manager was yelling at the girls behind the counter about a phone order. Someone also needs to give him a heads up on personal hygene... his hair is filthy and he's behind the counter with food.

Popcorn is way overpriced for the size of the bag also... back to the falls.......

This theater is alwalys one of the worst experiences I have in moviegoing. The management is rude The food very overpriced. the lines too slow and three times when I finally got up to the counter they were out of popcorn and I had to come out of the movie twice to try to get some... then they still had the nerve to charge full price while I was missing the movie I paid for.

It is well worth my time and gas money to travel to Marcus in Menomonee Falls where they know what service and courtesy are all about

This theater is ok it's easy to get to if you live close enough to it, and the prices are affordable, but the food is a little over priced. Hope if you go to it you like it.

I do agree with others about the need for 2 staffers at the ticket/concession line to speed up the sales, but
1) the movies are new so don't know what previous person was talking about
2) the theater/lobby/bathrooms are all very clean
3) tickets are comparably priced to others in the area if not cheaper than Milwaukee
4) temp in each theater is kept nice and cool in hot weather, actually to the point where you need a light sweater...they don't skimp on the a/c.
5) seats are very comfortable

I have seen many movies here, matinees and evenings and only a few times have had a long wait due to concession line being extremely busy. If you don't want to wait just use the ticket only line

This is the worst theater for ticket sales and concessions. I think they need to have a ticket sales line and then 1 concession line but have 2 people working it. 1 to take orders and 1 to fill orders. I was in line for a 1/2 hour to get 2 tickets and a popcorn and soda. Ridiculous! I was like 6th in line. The people who take your orders fill the orders and that takes way too long especially when a family of 5 comes in and there are 5 popcorns and 5 sodas.

When crowded, the staff often is disorganized and the lines at the concession counter are extremely long and confusing - probably because of that haphazard counter service.
But the prices are comparable to Saukville and less than Mequon, the movies are the same ones showing at any other first run theater and the theaters, lobby and bathrooms are kept very clean and in good order.

My advice: Skip the popcorn, drinks and candy and go right to the "tickets only" line. You'll save money, calories and get through the lobby confusion in no time at all.

1) they never show any good movies
2) ticket/concession sale lines are confusing and dumb
3) expensive
4) no where to park
5) NO GOOD MOVIES!!! (ik its a repeat, but it is true andit pisses me off)
