This theater is marked as inactive in our records. Check the Journal Entries page for more information.
Originally opened in 1931 as the Warner Theatre. The single screen theater was twinned in 1973 and renamed the Centre Cinemas. It was renamed the Grand Cinemas in 1982 to correspond with the newly opened Grand Avenue Mall across the street. The theater closed in 1995.
It is still owned by the Marcus Theatres Corp. and several attempts have been made by various parties to re-open the theater, but none have been successful.
