more »837 Moorlyn Terrace Moorlyn Terrace & Boardwalk Ocean City, NJ 08226 Originally opened around 1901 as a bowling alley, named Moore's Bowling Casino. It became a movie theater in 1922 and named the Moorlyn Theatre. It was divided into two screens in 1970 and into four in 1989. At some point, it came under the ownership of Frank Theatres and became known as the Frank Theatres - Moorlyn Stadium 4. It was sold by Frank Theatres in Oct 2012 to Ocean City Boardwalk Holdings, who then sold it to the Ocean City Tabernacle a week later. Closed in 2018 as the Moorlyn Family Theatre. Reopening in 2023/2024 as the Moorlyn Square Theatre (Town Square Entertainment).
