The Marcus Corp. has been named winner of the sixth annual "Outstanding Service Award" by Hearing Service, Ltd.The award recognizes an individual or agency that aides in improving the communication abilities of those with hearing loss.
Hearing Services serves hard-of-hearing and deaf patients at 11 locations in southeastern Wisconsin.
The award is given during "May is Better Hearing and Speech Month" by Hearing Services.
Marcus was named the winner of the award because of the Koss and Sennheiser infrared assistive listening headsets available at Marcus theaters.
The Marcus Corp. received a plaque commemorating the award and a Williams Sound Pocketeller amplifier for use when giving instructions to a hard-of-hearing customer.
