Ridge Cinema Opens Friday, August 9th

New theaters boast digital sound installations and stadium-style seating

The latest theater to come from Marcus Theatre Corporation is the Ridge Cinema, at the intersection of I-43 and Moorland Road in New Berlin.

The Ridge is the first in the Milwaukee area to offer stadium-style seating, called Clear Vision Stadium Seating. Stadium-style seating offers patrons a new way of enjoying movies, since no one can block their view. In addition to this unique seat placement, the theater also offers high-backed "love seats".

Marcus has also made a wise investment in some digital sound systems. An undisclosed number of theaters will feature either DTS Digital Sound or Dolby Digital Sound. The BigScreen Cinema Guide applauds this move, although having all the screens equipped with digital sound systems would be ideal!
