"Snow White and the Huntsman" is the second movie based on the Brothers Grimm Tale. The first one, "Mirror Mirror" came out just two months ago. Although Snow white is better than "Mirror, Mirror" I didn't have enought good stuff to recommend. I like Kristin Stewart as Snow White. She is one tough girl who can kick butt. She's the best thing about this movie. I also like the performance of Charlize Theron. She plays it off as very beautiful and very wicked.I also like the forest scene where it all came alive for me. But that's all I can do to loike this movie. That film came out too soon after "Mirror Mirror." If they movie that movie to late Summer or early fall, I could've like this movie more. Or maybe not. A close call.

It was a good movie with lots of action. It is also free of excess gore, sex , and violence, which makes it a good action flick for kids to see.

Overall it was quite good but I would not take anyone younger than 10 to this movie, especially if they know the Snow White story. There is lots of violence and is nothing like the cute little fairy tale we all grew up with! This Snow White was made for adults just like all the old cartoons.

The part I find funny is that although Charlene Theron and Kristin Stewart are ok looking women, I can't see them being the "fairest in all the land". Charlene is normally a very pretty woman but never in this movie-she even had red rimmed eyes a lot of the time!
