I'm not much of a baseball fan, but 'Moneyball" has sucked me into the movie. "Moneyball" is more than just another sports movie. it's a film that takes place not on the filed, but in the front offices where the real action takes polace. Brad Pitt is wonderful as Billy Beane the owner of the Oakland Athletics, who would rather watch the car in the car, than see it at the stadium. Watching Brad Pitt's performance reminds me of Robert Redford at the peak of his film career in the 1970's. Jonah Hill is great in his first serious role. Like I said, I'm not a serious baseball fan, but "Moneyball" will be liked; not only from Baseball fans, but those who aren't into Baseball much. "Moneyball" hits a home run.
Great screenplay, great story, great acting, nice pacing and well photographed....pure entertainment!
