"Journey 2:The Mysterious" Island isn't really a sequel to "Journey to the Center of the Earth." Why use a too instead a two. The only connection between the two movies that both movies is based on the books of Jules Verne. Believe me, I like the island the the giant monsters, but the cast wasn't impressive. Even Michael Caine didn't impress me. Dwayne Johnson is only there to show off his body. I only like Vanessa Hudgens. She's getting mature for a fine actress for her. Another problem with the movie; The movie's running time is about a hour and a half. "Jurassic Park's" running timne is two hours and fifteen minutes. That's plenty of time to explore the island. In Journey's case, the very little time gave the movie very little time to explore the island. As I left the movie, I didn't get much out of that movie. In that Daffy Duck short. I didn't get much of that short either. Daffy beinmg chased around by Elmo Fudd. Big deal. I like Daffy Duck when he was funny back in the late 1930's and early 1940,s. Today's Daffy Duck isn't funny at all. All's he got to show is his big ego.
