This classic 1969 western I have seen so many times that I have lost count. this is turly one of the great westerns of all time. Paul Newman and Robert Redford make a great team.I really love the way they do things. The song "Raindrops keep falling on my head: you have to get sick hearing it song on the radio a thousand times. But when i heard that song for the first time in the movie, it sound as it was sung for the very first time. When the movie was released in 1969, the western are trying to survive on the big screen as it try to complete against urban movies and science fiction movies. By the mid to late 1970's the western's days are numbered, but one film that reminds us of how western should be made. That movie is "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid."
