[--- See Now! ---]by BigScreen Reader Oct 4, 2011

I had low expectations going into this movie...and was very pleasantly surprised as it greatly exceeded my expectation...it is funny, dramatic, natural story with great acting from the two guys and surprisingly from Anna Kendrick who also acted very well in that Geo Clooney movie about the flying all the time in the airplanes, laying people off.....this was not a normal stoner movie you might expect from Seth Rogen but it still had some stoner comedy in it...Angelica Huston was very good also...overall I greatly recommend this great movie with some great acting and heart-felt (apparently) true story....go see it!

"50/50" is a film about one man's struggle against cancer. I would love to call it a comedy about cancer, but I wouldn't dare call it that. The film is a comedy/drama about a radio writer Joseph Gorden-Levitt who has learned that he has a rare from of cancer. This movie goes though the life of a mand under the inflyuence of that rare cancer with help from his mother (Anjelica Huston who has a better hairdo), Seth Rogan's good perfromance has redeemed himself from last winter's awful "The Green Hornet," and Anna Kendrick whose appeal was much better than her Oscar nominated performance in "Up in the Air." I like this movie, That film will make you feel better as you leave the theatre.
