A drama that center on the turn-of-the-century Ireland where a woman diguised herself as a man who wants to get ahead in the world. Glenn Close plays the title character who did her role very well. she deserve her Oscar. Janet McTeer plays herr friend who is doing the same thing as Close's character. The movie won three Oscar nominations, all three nominations well deserved. A closer looks at Close's character, she does look a little like Robin Williams. Only saying.
