The way they were. "The Guilt Trip" is a dull comedy about a mother and son trying to bound on an endless road trip to San Francisco. Seth Rogan plays a salesman, trying to sell a cleaning product that made buyers board to tears. Barbara Streisand plays his mother who nags him on the trip. When a movie suggest road trip, I happen to crings. This movie have them ging to Bars, Stripper Joints, dead end motels and a steakhouse where she one one good scene in the movie ate a whole steak in one hour. Streisand deserves better in what she was give, There is no chemistry between her and Rogen. There is very little to like. "The Guilt Trip" is nothing more than a rewrite of "Rain Man."
