A achievement of special effects inwhich giants in the movie are protrayed as big and ugly. "Jack the Giant Killer" is a far better movie than the one Abbott and Costello made in 1952 involving the same story. The only difference is that there are more than one giant, there are many giants. Bud and Lou wouldn't last one minute with these giants. These giants can kick butt and they can take down kingdoms. Good movie.
Ruined a great story that I grew up with as a kid. The love story is flimsy the action is minimal and the story is weak. Read the book its way better.
