There are plenty of superhero movies. this summer and they're be more next year. "Captaiin America:The First Avenger" is a good adaption of the comic book which came out in 1941 on the eve of America's entry in World War II. Chris Evans plays Steve Rogers, a 90 pound weaking who afgter an experimental drug, change into the fighting hero. The movie has capture the spirit of World War II. Hugo Weaving plays a crediable villain the Red shull. The terror group Hydra is too crediable. They were name after a monster who they cut off one head and two more takes in place. And how about the Howling commandos? They were created witrh a comic of their own in 1963. I like the way Captain America team up with the Commands. It's cool. And how about about the set up for the Avengers for next year. I like the trailer at the end. But I'll know if I like the movie when i see the movie next year.
This was an awesome movie!!
Realy Good Movie For The Comic Book Fans. Stay After The Credits For Your Trailer For The Avengers!
I loved this movie!!! Out of all of the most recent Superhero movies, I think this is the best one since the original Iron Man.
Chris Evans delivers in full a great performance as does the rest of the cast. Hugo Weaving does not disappoint as the antagonist. It all flows well and has a very nice structure to the plot. The characters are believable enough for a movie of this sort. It does get a little campy at times, but refocuses quickly, getting on with the business of delivering a good story.
There are some very top-level special effects and some twists and turns to the movie to keep you interested the whole way through. Captain America is a great addition to the Science Fiction/Fantasy/Action genre. Definitely see it once on the big screen.
