A scary 1982 film about a house that is haunted. It's about a little girl who talks to the dead though their television set. And later the dead kidnapped her.

"Poltergiest" is directed by Tobe Hooper ("The Texas Chainsaw Massacure") and produced by Steven Spielberg. "Poltergeist" could be called Spielberg's "The Anityville Horror." But still the film is scary good fun.
