I've been following Amanda Seyfried's career since "Momma Mia" in 2008 and since then she has broken out to become a compelling actress. "Gone" is no exception. She plays a girl name Jill who came home to find her sister being kidnapped by probaby the same person who kidnapped her and later escape. She reported this to the police and they think she's crazy. As I was watching thius film, I had mixed feelings about the character. One minute I believe in her and the next minute I don't. That is the main reason why I find her character more compelling, which is the main reason why I like the movie. I was with this movie up until the end, I heard that a lot of critics hated this movie. I guess I had to go with the minority. "Gone" is a good scary thriller.
It is good, but that's about it. I probably would wait to see it on cable if I were you. It did keep my interest, which is not easy for an type A personality!
