There's never a dull moment in "Hotel Transylania." A funny aminated comedy which started Halloween a bit early. If a movie's as funny as this one, who can complain. I like the relationship between Dracula and her daughter who is out to celebrate her 118th birthday. (This in not a typo; I guess that makes her the oldest teenager) Her started a hotel for monsters to get away from the humans who hunted them. Like maybe a monster version of Marriott's Courtyard Inn is to business travelers. One day, a human enters the hotel and all hell breaks loose. This movie reminds me of the 1964 movie "Mad Mondter Party," a film I saw when I was young. "Hotel Transylavia" is notjust for kids. This film is for everybody. A early Halloween present.
