Amour is french for love and "Amour" the movie is just that. The film is about the couple whose the wife named Anne is played by Oscar nominee Emmanulle Riva and her husband Georges is played by Jean-Louis Trintignant. The film is abou the couple dealing with old age. the Anne's health is fast decling and Georges must do the best the best he could to be at her side. Emmanuelle gave a brave performance. She has earn her Oscar nomination. Isabelle Huppert is very good as Eve, Anne's daughter. Her performance is appealing. Huppert is one of my favorite French actresses. I hope to see her again in another movie as the same could be said about Riva. While I was waiting for the movie to arrive, two people who I admired has died. film Critic Roger Ebert, who inspired me to write about movies and Actrress Bonne Franklin who inspire me to new heights. I miss them both very much. With "Amour" I have seen all nine nominations for Best Picture Academy Awards. Watching "Amour" is well worth it.
