Whe I saw the trailer for "The Heat," (Not to be confused with the 1995 movie "Heat") I though it would be a good movie right? Wrong! Sadly all the funny moments of this film are in the trailer. The movie comes off as nothing more than just another buddy-buddy cop movie. The only difference are lead are female. Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy tried to make the chemistry wrok but they failed at that. Bullock plays an FBI agrnt name Sarah Ashburn, which it reminded me of Gracie Hart in "Miss Congeniality." McCarthy plays a Boston cop who break all the rules. Her character starts out strong, but wimpers out toward the end. Her family is nothing more than a group of unlikable unhappy people. The case they assign too isn't nothing new. Mean drug dealers are nothing new in buddy movies. I didn't see any difference. Just a few good lauhs and that's all shwe wrote. I say that the trailer is more funny than the actually movie.
