"Getaway" is an action-pack movie that is anything but. It full of action, but I see no joy of sitting those this movie. It's like sittiung in the bacseat of the car and having to watch the two people in the front argue., The plot doesn't make no sense as I saw the movie yesterday. Ethan Hawke plays a former reace car driver whose whife is bewing kisnapped and the caller demands that he became a reckless driver or his wife would be killed. she he ends up running down people, causing auto wrecks and smash police cars. I don't know the budget of the Sophia police department, but it be a hard time for them to get these cars replaced. Selena gomez may be the onlyt good thing in the movie. She plays a car hijacker who came in the middle, but won't get out. I've been following her career for the past three years and I was impressed with her film career. This is the first bad movie she's done. Jon Voight is wasted as the voice. Ever time he speaks to the computer, we only see his mouth. Voight appeared in the 1969 movie "Midnight Cowboy." 44 years later he is busted down to plaing a mouthpiece. "Getaway" is a wasted effort to be an action movie, but it ended up a flat tire.
