A few months ago, I sat though the 1971 movie "La Mas" on Turner Classic Movies. I live the racing sequence and it star Steve McQueen. I didn't get much of the movie. "Rush" directed by ron Howard is better becausew we get in both the characters and the racing action. The film forcus on two men. James Hunt and Niki Lauda, who are rivals in the formula racing which took place in 1976. The cast is terrific, the direction by Ron Howard is great. But like the performance by Olivia Wilde not for her acting, but for her wild outfits in the movie. I was blown away by the dress she wore in "The Words." This movie has caputre the mood of 1976 and how those racers had to deal with while on the road.
