"Dark Skies" is nothing more than just a silly alien invasion movies, inwhich the main characters doing silly stuff that will embrassed anyone. I don't know why Keri Russell is doing in the movie. I admire the actress very much. When I first saw her in "Felicity" many years ago, I was her fan for life. She gave a great perfrormance in "Waitress" in 2007. She should have gotton an Oscar nomination for her role. Now she's in this movie and the film treated her character like a prop. "Dark Skies" is about a famiuly who life is disrupted when aliens enter their home. First the raided the fridge, then they pile stuff up and then cxharacters started acting crazy. In "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" the aliens spend a few minutes adducting a kid from the house. Why it took the entire movie for aliens to aduct some kid from the house? For a movie to act silly is just plain sad. I don't need this, the audience don't need this. Keri Russell doesn't need this. Keri Russell is currently appearing in FX's "The Americans." See that instead.
