"Insidious" is made for horror fans, who can't wait two week until "Scream 4" opens in theatres. This movie is northing more than another rip off of "Amityville Horror." A family member falls into a coma and that leads to a battle between good and evil. The evil goon nin this movie; his biggest hang up is playing Tiny Tim's "Tiptoe though the Turlips." There were two other children in the movie. Both of them are gone by the end of the second reel.
I wrote a horror novel and I will tell you that this was a scary movie. People in the theater did not talk at all and were glued in like me.
No stars to steal your attention just good actors and a great plot.
Not quite as good as the first one, but still a very good, well made horror movie. James Wan excels at creating an atmosphere of suspense and dread that permeates throughout an entire film and Insidious: Chapter 2 is no exception.
If you enjoyed the 1st movie, you'll enjoy the sequel as well.
