"The In-Laws" is remake of the 1979 classic. I didn't see the film and enen if I did, it wouldn't do me any good. Michael douglas is a rogue CIA spy who befriended "Albert Brooks" on the weekend of the wedding of their children. The chemistry between the two never caught fire.
