"The Wind Rises" is a smart and brilliantly made movie from Japan, which is a historial drama set in Japan in the years before World War 2. It's based on the life of airplane desinger Jiro Horikoshi who career is inspired from Italian plane desinger Capromi. There are two version of "The Wind Rises" One in subtitles and the other in dubbed. I saw the subtitle version so I can hear the movie in their own native language. So I suggest the foreign language version instead. Not only Japanese was spoken, but German and Italian was also spoken. Hayao Miuazaki has written and directed this smart little drama. So the film wan't done in computer animation. I still love the movie more. It's the best aminated movie in the past year, except "Frozen." I love "Frozen" a lot.
