Smells like teen spirit? Smell like another bad movie. "Pan" tells the childhood of Peter Pan and his friendship with Captain Hook before he became a bad guy. This movie has too may things going on and the film is a little bit too dark . I shook my head as the kids in Neverland are singing "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and I though the movie took place in 1940, some 50 years before the song. Hugh Jackson went overboard as the villain. He sometimes yells to much. Newcomer Levi Miller plays Peter. The only standout in the movie is Rooney Mara as Tiger Lily. It makes me want to look forward to her next movie. The film is "Carol." I saw the trailer and I was impressed. More impressed than seeing "Pan."
