[--- Stay Away! ---]by VIP MemberApr 11, 2001
The first Godzilla movie isn't the best. This 1954 movie is just another monster movie from Japan and to make matters worst, they insert Raymond Burr into the Japanese movie to attract an American audience. I'm no fan of the series. The only Godzilla movie that I like is the 1998 American version. The other Godzilla movies are cheapy made and silly.

This was the start of a long series and (sadly) that comes from the same country as the great Japanese Director Akira Kurosawa. I'll take him and his movies over the Godzilla movies anyday.
