[--- Good ---]by Dean Berglund May 14, 2001

I wish there was a rating somewhere between Good and Wait for the Rental. I give A Knight's Tale 2 out of 5 stars.

I enjoyed the movie and got a few laughs although my wife didn't. It was interesting to see a knight jousting and sword fighting while todays music is playing in the backround with the spectators singing along.

I'd say to see it at matinee prices rather than full price and you won't feel cheated.

A disappointing film starring Heath Ledger of "The Patriot," which to show you that anyone who dies in a Mel Gibson movie is bound to get their owm starring film.

Ledger played a knight who was entered in the Joust tournment. The film's soundtrack is a uneasy mixture of classical music and rock. Why rock music played in the middle ages? I was bored by scene after scene of Jousting.

And Rolling Stone called "A Knight's Tale" the hottest movie of the summer. This sort of thing makes me want to cancelled my subscription.

This movie was a perty good movie. it had a couple of flaws though...
SHORT!! Only one hour long.. it had a good story line to it but wasnt elaborate enough. could have been alot better.. stretch it out for Peets Sake..
their are alot of loose ends. that keep you wonderin.. but all in all this was a good movie. although not worth payin to see in da movie theaters..... <;-)

Considering I went into this movie expecting a serious action flick combined with a romance sub-plot, I was surprised... DO NOT expect a serious movie!

The opening scene really set the tone for the whole movie... I had heard they modernized a midieval movie with rock music, but I was laughing like crazy when I saw the peasants at the arena clapping and stomping to "We Will Rock You" by Queen! Later we got to see them do a wave, and the knights had corporate sponsors. It was hilarious!

Oh... and the jousting/swordfighting was cool too. I hear they got performers from Midieval Times to do the stunts.

Overall, see this movie if you're in the mood for a comedy. I wasn't, but I was pleasantly surprised.

AWSOME! Good movie. Lot of action but not too much blood and gore. Sorry horror fans.

Some may say it's a little far feched and unrealistic but I say why not? It's a movie. Be Creative. One thing I like about this movie is it asks the question, "What if?" though not exactly directly.

Everyone who's seen it and says it's unrealistic I say "How do you know." It's very Imaginative. One of My favorites.
