This movie just totally took away from the whole childhood experience of the cartoon series! The caracters just were not at all like the way they were created in the cartoon .Just not what I expected at all!! Very disappointed!

A turly horrable film. "Scooby-Doo" is based on the Hanna-Barbara cartoon and I saw the cartoon back when I was a kid and I didn't like it. Which makes reviewing this film more of a chore that a joy.

The film looked more like a costume party with bad dialogue. There's nothing to like about this film. It's noisy, dumb, stupid, even feeble-minded. The cinemagoraphy is awful and the music score will make anyone crige.

There's not one moment in this film that rings true. The Scooby gang is sent to Spooky Island, a theme park which is laced with cult activity. Oh the horrors I have seen.

I went with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It was much better than I anticipated and my three boys thouroughly enjoyed it.

It's amazing how closely they made the cast resemble their cartoon namesakes.
