"Serendipity" is one of the best films of the year. John Crusak and Kate Beckinsale both came from two bad movies. Crusak from "American Sweethearts" and Beckinsale from "Pearl Harbor."

In "Serendipity" the two accidently ran into each and they fell in love. Though fate, they lost each other. We cut to the present as they two, being lead by fate are about to cross again. The film is well-written and romantic and it's fun to watch. Kate Beckinsale is appealing and she deserves an Oscar nomination.

I notice in one scene the World Trade Center which it was recently destroyed by terrorists. My advice to Miramax is to leave them in, don't take them out. It would be a fitting tribute if you do leave the twin towers in.

I do believe in fate, and that's what this movie is all about. The turn of events is fantastic, but you can predict where it is all heading too.

All in all, a fun movie to see.

Rather predictible, but I still enjoyed it very much

A happy, smiley movie. I think Cusack is a good actor (not a real strong lead though) and Beckinsale was great. Not an Oscar award winner, not a box office record setter, but a good solid movie to see in the theaters or on rental.
