First a word of warning: this movie is not for everybody. Anybody adverse to loud sound effects, thin plots, and comic-book style movies will not enjoy this.
That said, Blade II is an ultraviolent thrill ride that never stops the action until the end. I think there were maybe 20 minutes of this movie that weren't filled with action. And that action is great. It ranges from shootouts to horror movie hunts to martial arts showdowns atop precarious, high-up surfaces.
With so much action, there is little room for plot. Something about a new breed of vampired with very ugly mouths that like to eat other vampires, but it's really not important in this movie. For what it's meant to be (a nonstop action-packed thriller), Blade II is top notch.
Wesley Snipes is back in "Blade II," as the vampire hunter sides with his vampire enemies to battle a new breed of vampires.
Once you get past the blood and gore, you will have fun with the movie. "Blade II" is better the boring "Queen of the Damned." Blade is based on the Marvel comic character. Another Marvel comic character, Spider-Man will hit theatres shortly, in the meantime go enjoy "Blade II and Snipes.
I don't think this is as good as the original, but it is worth seeing.

In my opinion this was one better than the first. The fight scenes were much more thought out and more accurate. The storyline was much more detailed and well written.
I say go see it now. The sword work is awesome.
