The film stars Isabelle Huppert in this case study of a woman who is a piano teacher during the day, but a night she's a prom addict who patron pron shops. One day her past catches up to her when she falls for one of her students. Her character crosses Shirley MacLaine's "Madame Sousatzka" with Clint Eastwood's character in "Tightrope." Huppert delevers a strong performance, making "The Piano Teacher (La Pianiste)" a must see.
