John Travolta gave a great perfornance in "Basic." Travolta and Connie Nielson played JAG's as they invesigate the disappearance of a commander, played by Sammuel L. Jackson and several men while on a basic training run.

Travolta gave some of the best lines of the year. Nielson and Jackson also gave great performances. "Basic" is predicable until the ending.

Must see Movie.----This movie offers a surprise around every corner, the viewer can't figure out the plot. The move had a fresh twist. Pretty good acting by John Travolta, Connie Nielsen, Samuel L. Jackson, Brian Van Holt, Timothy Daly, Giovanni Ribisi, Taye Diggs, Roselyn Sanchez, Harry Connick Jr. --- Sometimes you never know what will happen next.
