I saw "Bye Bye Birdie" many years ago, and I like this film based on the Musical which is based on Elvis Presley relisting in the army. This film has recaptured the era in american history where anyone can be a star. I like the name Conrad Birdie, it's the coolest name is motion picture history. Dick Van Dyke played Albert Peterson who's trying to selling a hit song to Birdie. Ann-Margret is there in a early role before "Viva Las Vegas." Paul Lynde made an appreance in this film. Lynde became the comic dommance on television and the big screen in the 1960's. there are memorable songs include "Put on a Happy Face" and "Got a Lot of Livin' to do." I like "Bye bye Birdie," but it's not the best musical of all time. I love to watch movies that came from the 1960's. It's a decade in movies that changed for the better.
