the plot made no sense what so ever. the acting lackluster, exetremely slow paced, one of the most boring movies i've ever seen in my life. it was so bad i left before it ended.
I would have given this movie a "See Now!" rating, but I decided against it, because it isn't for everyone.
"Solaris" is a depressing drama about a psychologist who went to a space station when astronauts on the station experieced unusual behavior. while there he confronted his dead wife who appeared on the space station, played beautifully by Natasche McElhone.(The only good thing about this film) The music score reminded me of a better movie which is titled "2001:A Space Odyssey."
First off, let me say that I'm not a teenager. I'm 30 and my husband is almost 40. He fell asleep during the movie. It was all I could do to stay awake. The plot was foggy. I'm still not sure what was going on or how it ended and yes, I was awake.
Slow. Not thought provoking enough for a movie that should be. Not worth the time or money. Watch it on HBO when nothing else is on.
ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ I actually fell asleep at this movie. My wife had to wake me because I started to snore. The movie just never got going. Beautiful scenery of outer space especially the planet named Solaris. This movie dragged on like 2001 A Space Oddesy. I enjoyed 2001 better. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
