My opinion?

This is the movie of the year. Great acting, a great plot and something for everyone. See it now and then see it again.

Wonderful for the entire family.

Obviously, some critics don't "get" this film. They also don't know the difference between shotguns and rifles, don't go out in normal daylight, breathe their own exhaust fumes, and equate "uplifting" with "corny."

Great film, great story (stories), great acting, well written, and directed. Ignore the bed-wetting critics. DO NOT MISS!

Although I can't say this is a classic, it is a very good movie. There were places where it gets a little hokey, but all in all, it's worth seeing. Has good morals, you leave with a good feeling. Take your kids, they will enjoy it too. Come on Hollywood, you really can make good movies if you really try.

A smart and movie which is full of joy and happiness. And even I was surprised by the film's direction."Secondhand Lions" featured two actors who made their film debut in the 1960's. Michael Caine and Robert Duvall played two brothers with a lot of secrets to hide. Enter Haley Joel Osment as the boy who must live with his uncles while his mother is off searching for a new boyfriend. The stories that the brothers told are fun to listern to, especially in the flashbacks where they join the foreign legion and one of them has fallen for a princess. And that's not all. The farm consist of dogs and one old lion. There are surprises from every corner of the film. This movie loves to surprise you, and the same time the movie is moving and has a big heart. The film is for everyone. It touched me very deeply. You will have a good time with "Secondhanded Lions."
