The first half is a love story and the second is about revenge. Denzel Washinton and Dakota Fanning are outstanding together. It is hard to believe she is so young. Lots of violent scenes but shows the awful underbelly of the Mexican kidnapping for ransom crime syndicate. Cinematography is outstanding and very unusual. Tony Scott should be up for a nomination as director.
Too long. Nothing new here.
The first hale of the story was actually better than the aecond (action) half. It was long , predictable and boring.
"Man on Fire" is a powerful drama about a former CIA agent assign to protect a little girl against a kidnapping attempt. Denzel Washington gives a good performance, but the real star of the movie is Dakota Fanning. Her performance has won my heart.
