I really wish I could give this at least a good rating, but it isn't that good.
Slow moving, and very few funney moments. Another bad remake of a good film.

Steve Martin is awesome!! Iím only giving this rating a ďGoodĒ instead of a ďSee Now!Ē because I realize that it isnít for everybody. It is a bit stale and itís different than the previous Pink Panther films, (much better in my opinion). I always felt sorry, (and kind of annoyed) with Peter Sellersí and Alan Arkinís portrayals of Clouseau, but with this one, you really like Steve Martinís character, itís better written, and there is much more comedic scenes.

This film was not as good as I expected. It was funny in a few scenes, mostly the ones that they showed in the commercial, and they were all just slapstick jokes that have been seen in other movies. I thought Steve Martin was funny, but he has showcased his acting abilities better in movies other than this one. Wait for this movie to come to rent and watch it with your kids because children will most likely find the slapstick humor to be hilarious.

Steve Martin is no Peter Sellers. and I can see this one coming in the first fifteen minutes of "The Pink Panther." This film was made for people that don't watch Turner classic Movies or don't care about Turner Classic Movies. this film was made for the MTV crowd. Martin tried his best, but there no getting round to it. Peter Sellers is Inspector Closeau. they should have ended the series after Sellers' death in 1980. This film lack the humor of the Petter Sellers/Blake Edwards series.

Good movie, although Steve Martin is not even close to Peter Sellers... some very funny moments and a acceptable storyline...
