[--- See Now! ---]by George Jobson VIP MemberDec 8, 2005

"The Squid and the Whale" is one of the best movies of the year. I love the film so much I hate it when it ended. There is tension in the house when the parents announced they're getting adivorce over a affair. Superior performances by Jeff Daninels, Laura Linney and Anna Paquin. So this movie is a independant movie with a small budget. But this film has heart, a big heart. See this film for yourself. This is a special movie. I love this movie very much.

I can't quite give it a "See Now". The plot was too thin for me, and there were too many threads that just didn't lead anywhere. Maybe that's what the director was going for, but it bothered me.
