This film was funny in parts. It was really short and they made fun of so many movies that they didn't keep a constant pace. I thought that scary movie 3 was funnier. 4 did not have that funny of a script. Too many of the jokes were just slapstick. I started to get tired of people hitting their heads or falling over. I did not want to give it a "wait for rental" rating just because I didn't think it was bad. I mean, it made me burst out laughing in quite a few spots. Go see this movie when you want some laughs and don't have anything else to do.
"Scary Movie 4" is just the same in the last three movies, gross out with very little to laugh at. There are spoof of movies such as "War of the Worlds," "Saw," and "The Village," to name a few. Guessing which movie came from is the only good thing that came out of this movie. Even Leslie Nielsen, who I admired in the three Naked gun movies as Frank Drebin is treated like a prop as he played the President of the United States. The Question:Will there be another Scary movie? I hope not, but with lots of horror movies to come out in the next few years, there will be. And that the scariest thing of the entire series.
Not much of a plot...then again none of these movies had one...but the others were better than this one
