This film is so close to the original in almost all aspects, that it is not worth seeing. It may be worth a rental just because the original was so good.
I didn't see the original 1976 version of "the Omen," but then again, I was bored by the 2006 version. I don't know why they made this new version of "the Omen," but as far as I concern, this may be the weaker of the two. And I haven't saw the 1976 version. I like Julia Stiles. I follow her anywhere, even if in a a movie like this one that doesn't quite delvier.. I though this version is silly. Too silly to be called a horror move. That's for sure.
