What's the best new release over the fourth of July holiday? "Transformers:Dark of the Moon?" No! "Larry Crowne?" No! How about "Monte Carlo?" Yes. I like this movie. This movie is good. I like Katie Cassidy and Leighton Meester. The the one that got me to like this movie is Selena Gomez. Her appeal lights up a room. Film critic Roger Ebeert compares "Monte Carlo" to "Sex and the City." I don't see that compansion. "Monte Carlo" is way better than "Sex and the City." So good that this move doesn't need to be compare to anything. The girls go to Paris where Gomez is mistaken for a rich woman name Cordelia Winthrip Scott played by Gomez in a dual role. The girls go to Monte Carlo where they live up the good life andf fall in love. This is a good movie if you're not asking for much. The same week as the release of the movie, Selena Gomez's new album with the Scene is out. I hope after the movie you just might pick up the album. I love the poster that shows Gomez with a dress to match her western boots. What she wore is very classy.
