This is not just a movie...it is a moviegoing experience. I was in awe throughout watching it. It is a very beautiful and special piece of cinema art. Emile Hirsch...once again, delivers a true, very natural performance and he is captivating as is the whole movie. This movie will stay with you long after the credits roll by. If there is any justice in Hollywood...this movie will not get overlooked come Oscar time.
"Into the Wild" is a true story about a man who abandon his family and his identity to head to Alaska, only to died there in the harsh wildress. Sean Penn wrote and direct this movie that sees America from two points of view, his sister and the man in question. This is a long journey that takes him though America and evenually into the wildress that is Alaska. this is onbe incredible true story that you have to see.
