Extremely gory and quite disturbing film, as throat cutting and cannibalism seem to be central to the film's plot. However, it is put together very well. The story is portrayed in Tim Burton's monochromatic vision. I loved the style, music and even the dark storyline. Hearbreaking, disturbing, gory, and dark, Sweeney Todd is not a movie for kids or people with weak stomachs for that matter. This is by far Tim Burton's darkest masterpiece and on the par with Edward Scissorhands and Sleepy Hollow.

One of the best musicals and the best film ever for Director Tim Burton. "Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street," comes alive with good musical numbers, well dome street scenes and yes there will be blood. Lots of blood, but that didn't dominate the movie a bit. Johnny Depp once again get into his character without any trouble. He gave another great performance. "Sweeney Todd" is a musical for those who think that "Hairspray" is just to tame. I for one happen to like both movies a lot.

Kill, Kill, Kill............For no reason. This movie rates as one of the worst I have ever seen. If you like blood and gore, it's for you.
